In India there are multiple socio-economic disadvantages that members of particular groups experience which limits their access to health and healthcare. The task of identifying the vulnerable groups is not an easy one. Besides there are multiple and complex factors of vulnerability with different layers and more often than once it cannot be analyzed in isolation.

CAMS have been endeavoring to safe guard human dignity, trying to promoting concerns through theater arts and Plays, Paying attention to those population groups considered most vulnerable in society – children (girls and boys), adolescents, women and men; indigenous and tribal populations; national, ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities; internally displaced persons; the elderly persons with disabilities; economically disadvantaged or otherwise marginalized and/or Vulnerable groups.

ECONOMIC SUSTENANCE – IGP: INCOME GENERATION PROGRAMMES

Livelihood interventions and opportunities are tapped in on-farm and off-farm areas which seek to impart knowledge and build on capacities for people in employable skills. This is done in relation to understanding the markets and technology and the growth in different sectors in relation to age, sex, education and training levels.

CAMS support and help in addressing sustainable livelihoods through community education initiatives. CAMS also try to build up employability skills as well as to create enabling conditions to enhance the quality of life through personality development courses.
